Stay Safe and Informed: 2026 Traffic Safety Open House
At the Alameda Transportation Management Association (ATMA), we believe that a well-informed community is a safer community. We are committed to sharing resources that help our residents navigate our streets with confidence, whether you are walking, biking, driving, or taking public transit.
We want to highlight an upcoming event hosted by the City of Alameda: the 2026 Traffic Safety Open House.
🗓️ Event Details
- When: Thursday, July 30, from 5:30–7:00 PM (Drop-in anytime)
- Where: Mastick Senior Center, Room D (1155 Santa Clara Ave, Alameda)
- Access: Please enter through the parking lot.
💡 Why Attend?
This open house is a valuable opportunity to engage directly with staff from the City's Public Works, Police, and Transportation Planning departments. You can learn about current traffic safety trends in Alameda, see what the City is doing to improve safety, and share your own ideas and concerns.
A key focus this year is the rise of electric mobility. City staff will be providing information on e-bike, e-scooter, and e-moto safety, including a helpful guide on how to tell the difference between e-bikes and e-motos. There will also be light snacks, a scavenger hunt, a raffle, and activities for children.
